The Highlights of My Professional (and Expat) Journey:
My passion for event planning and travel inspired me to study hospitality at Oxford Brookes University; my study included one year working at the Paris Marriott as a management trainee. Later I worked for Christie’s auction house, London overseeing furniture sales, then worked for Christie’s Great Estates in Barcelona, where I set up their highly profitable lettings department. When I returned to England, I studied with the Coaching Academy and became a personal performance coach. I used my coaching skills for executive recruitment and HR both for an external recruiting agency, in Amsterdam and inhouse for the principal healthcare provider in Qatar, which oversees 8 hospitals and the ambulance service. On returning to The Netherlands, I joined a biopharmaceutical company and assisted HR with projects, recruitment, process implementation, and payroll audits. I then furthered my coaching skills by training at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, and became a Certified ELI Master Practitioner and a COR.E Transition Dynamics specialist. I then became accredited by the International Coaching Federation.
